About Courtney R. Nelson, DO

Dr. Nelson attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree with minors in Chemistry and Portuguese in 2000.  He then moved to Glendale, Arizona were he attended the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine receiving his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree in 2005.  Dr. Nelson joined the United States Air Force in 2001 and was a Medical Student, Lieutenant until 2005.  He went on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he did his Residency in Family Medicine until 2008.  During this time he joined the 55th Medical Group as a Family Medicine Resident, Captain until 2008 where he became a Family Practice Physician and started at the Ehrling Berquist Clinic (55th Medical Group) at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska until 2012.  Dr. Nelson also worked with Docs Who Care covering emergency rooms and hospitals in Rural Nebraska.  

He moved back to Utah in 2012 and joined Wasatch Peak Family Practice as one of the newest physicians on staff.
